Everyone has their first times for everything. At the age of 30, almost 31 I finally took a step towards a mature life starting point. Most people would have already gotten this far much sooner with marriage and kids being the prequel. Not me, I have taken my time in growing up focusing on myself and what it takes to be happy and make it in the world without having the rug ripped out from under me completely. May I introduce you to my first house. The Teeny Tiny House 748sq ft of 1920 built 12ft ceiling glory that was modified in 1970's and never touched since.

I bought the house with what I managed to save away between working and going to school. This will be our stepping stone and real trial to making things work together. We're unmarried, but with 11+ years in our belt, 10 of them under the same roof, I think we've adapted to each others habits well enough to take this plunge.
Best parts? DEBT FREE. That's right! No mortgage to drag us down and enough money to get it livable around Christmas. Plus he's the most knowledgeable handyman I could ever have come across. Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber, Masonry, Cook, Landscapist, Computer Tech. We compliment each other well as he's the Step 1 the foundation and I'm more of the Step 2 that finishes the product.
Through this blog I'll be posting up House Specs, photos of before and after progressions and ideas that we're going to use on this home as well as inspirational pictures that I've gathered from the net. It's going to be our small gem but for now it will affectionately be known as the Tiny Toilet House due to its size.
Enjoy!
